Recently, one of my dear friends was staying with me for a week. During that time we would both answer PWF forum questions together and as a result, I wound up getting an even closer look at what tinder is like from a girls perspective. Thus, I convinced her to write this article with me, outlining what Tinder is like for women...And, it is frustrating.

1. Most guys have horrible profiles. The vast majority of guys on Tinder have shitty mirror selfies as their primary pics. We went through the first random dozen matches that showed up for her while here. And while half of them fit her aesthetics criteria, pretty much every single one was a left swipe due to the atrociously bad profile pictures. Combined that with the fact that most guys have bad bios as well, a girl has to go through A LOT of guys before she has one she can swipe right on. I asked her to ballpark me a number and out of 100 profiles, there is maybe 1 or 2 she will swipe right on. The rare few who have a combination of good bio and pictures.

2. Most guys have horrible text game. When I saw the average level of text "game", I couldn't stop shaking my head. Starting from extremely cheesy openers to extreme neediness and just talking about pure nonsense. I saw the disappointment in her eyes as she would show me conversations with guys who were perfectly her type. The issue? The shit they wrote was so cringed that she couldn't get herself to go out with them. Something like 2% of her matches were actually able to hold a conversation. Think about these stats for a second. Let's be very optimistic. If 1 out of 50 profiles that she looks at is a right swipe and 1 out of 50 of those don't write cringy shit ( we are assuming a 100% rate for her ) That still means that she has to literally go through over 2,000 profiles to find 1 guy who could be an eligible candidate.

3. Poor leading. Out of the small minority of guys who make it past" basic bander" and get to the number exchange phase, most well suck at leading. They will either never take any initiative to try to make the meet up happen or conversely be way too pushy and turn her off by repeatedly insisting on meeting on a day that she ligitmently can not. Also, quite frustrating.

4. Being catfished. Yes, this happens to girls as well. For us, it's often a girl heavier than her pics and that does happen to girls as well. But, more commonly, it's guys older than advertised. Looking like they are her age in the pics, but actually being her dad's age.

5. Guys lacking social skills/leading. On the rare occasion of the guys who do look like their pics about half are socially awkward and make for an uncomfortable date. My friend is a bit on the shy side when she first meets someone ( as are a majority of girls ) And thus, hates being the one to have to lead the conversation. ( as do most girls ) But, is forced to with about half of the guys she meets up with. This could be a whole essay in of itself, but long story short it is quite frustrating for girls when a guy they are physically attracted to can;t hold a conversation and/or is socially awkward.

6. Flaking/Ghosting. Yes, this is a big issue for girls as well. Think about it, they find that very rare combination of a guy who has a decent profile doesn't say anything cringe over text, and can actually lead. She is hopeful, excited, maybe even a little turned on by the idea of a meet already. Then out of nowhere, then the day of the big date, the guy vanishes into thin air. Sometimes there is no explanation. And sometimes there is an extremely elaborate bullshit lie. Either way, it is frustrating.

As you can see, Tinder and the sexual market place in general for women is nothing like what the manosphire nerds make it out to be. It is also frustrating and filled with its own set of changes. We also wound up making an hour-long video on this together which will be on the PWF Youtube channel in the next few days. By being able to understand all this you will be in the less than 1% of guys who "gets it" and thus gets to bang the girl. ;]
