I assume you all talked to an endocrinologist before starting TRT.
As such, being that testosterone can fluctuate throughout the day, how were you able to get a good blood test for t-levels without having to go to the lab 4 times in one day to get a summarized result?

Yeah man, I've been doing TRT for two years. I can tell you that the majority of endocrinologist have extremely outdated information and still think high testosterone can give you cancer. I would only talk to a functional medicine doctor. In terms of doing the test, the general standard is just to measure your testosterone within a few hours of waking. Yes, their is some fluctuation. But whether your testosterone is a bit off due to the time of day shouldn't really affect your treatment related decisions.

I'll have to go in for another blood test then since the last time I went in I came out with 1400 ng/dL which is above the normal range. So I want to see if this is just an abnormal spike during that time of day or if my t levels are actually that high.

How do you measure your test? Can you make a thread on how to go about getting TRT. I'm assuming I need a doctor to adminster a test kit or something?

Hey man, I actually have a very detailed video on this. Search on the channel. But, you basically want to get blood work done for Total Testosterone SHBG at the very least. Any semi-decent functional medicine doctor will test you for this. In terms of getting started find a functional doctor or TRT clinic in your area with good reviews. Call & double check that they do TRT and then just go in for an appointment. It's actually very simple.
