The other day I met I girl I know peripherally, and we ended up bar hopping together a bunch, until 6:30 am. During this, she gave me plenty of hints and opportunities to go for a kiss. I didn't jump on any as I had a girlfriend here. She is not aware of this.

Fast forward about a week and me and my girlfriend actually break up. I try to reengage the talks on IG, and she replies with investment, but it sounds kind of friendly. I wasn't overly flirty during this, but definitely teasing. She writes pretty nice and long replies but takes about a whole day to respond to texts, and because of that she doesn't feel too invested in me. It could very well be backwards rationalization, although I don't think she really had sex in mind when we were at the bars. I did end up owing her a drink though. Should I try to flirt more directly in the messages? Should I just ask her out and offer a drink on me? Or did she in fact backwards rationalize meaning I have to move on?
