Date was all set up, 45 minutes before we're supposed to meet she messages me, "can I ask you a question- I just want to feel safe before meeting a stranger.."

I said, "that's why we're meeting in public with other people around, ask me anything when we're there"

Then she sends me this: (see attachment)

LOL "the CDC guidelines" ๐Ÿ™„

"I have a young son, so I need to make sure I don't spread it"

This is so ignorant on so many levels,

I debated back and forth what to say, couldn't think of anything that could get through to someone who thinks like this and blocked her.

What would you have said?

Thanks

I would just have said "Of course I am, I have family too"

Obviously you don't want to lie to girls, but when a girl asks you a question like this, your answer should be what she wants to hear. If she wants to know you're safe, tell her you are.

I figured I was overthinking it. Thanks

The timing's bad but corona virus is no joke. Even at this stage hundreds of people die each day where I live. While the likelyhood of an infant dying from the disease is lower; her concern isn't absurd.

Total hysteria. Her kid has a 1 in 37,036 chance of dying, and it's irrelevant because the vaccines are "leaky" and don't prevent transmission (Israel, Iceland), a healthy lifestyle and strong immune system does. She clearly gets her social conditioning from CNN which is why I considered it a lost cause
