3 months into HingeX and Tinder Plat, I have had spurts here and there where I get noticeably more matches on one platform. Hinge has actually been better for larger portions as I have been opening girls with Alex's openers upon liking them ("can I be honest", "you know what's interesting about your photos?", etc.), getting me 3-5 matches daily on average (20 likes sent a day). What I've noticed with Hinge is that much less girls go through their feed and only look at their likes. Is it typical for someone who uses both apps with premium equivalents to do better on Hinge if their openers captivate the girl? Also, would shirtless photos later on in Hinge profiles still be useful even though Hinge is a bit more relationship focused?
Being able to send a girl a message without matching is the wild card that can in some scenarios make a girl who would've swiped left want to continue the convo. You can also do that on Tinder and I found its similar success rate to Hinge actually
As far as shirtless pic, it depends on the pic, if its natural enough and DHV, 100% worth it. I wouldn't pay any mind on hinge being perceived as "relationship focused"

So here's the thing I noticed. Some dating apps will just work better for some ppl, without any obv reason. But, if you wanna improve your results on every app then I recommend focusing on your photos overall. You can post your profile pics in a new post and ill give you more specific feedback.
