She’s saying she’s too scared of infection, despite us being in England with only 20 deaths/day now....
Any ideas how to allay her fears about public transport? I don’t want to uber her both ways if I don’t have to (also tbf uber is technically public transport but I will struggle to make this point to her without seeming sarcastic lol)

You either need to get her to challenge her assumptions about covid and safety, or invent teleportation real quick.

Yeah. I would just tell her to uber to your place and that you'll drive her back. If she doesn't bite on that, you can offer to pick her up
