I cold opened a girl the other day and we discussed meeting up in the week (I missed getting a good day she was free). In our text exchange though, she was showing little signs of interest, but I did get her to bite on bait at one point. My final text was probably a mistake, so I'm looking for feedback on where I could have done better. Thanks.

Me: Hi Ashley. (Callback reference). What's a good day for you this week?
Her: Lol maybe Wednesday or Thursday
Me: Ok. As for the basics.. tatts, babies, insane exes?

(No response in a day)

Me: Not a trick question. (I sent this after a day because waiting three days felt a little out of context, but maybe waiting longer on this is better. Not sure)
Her: A lot of tattoos, no babies or exes
Me: That can only mean 1 thing
Her: What?
Me: You sure you wanna know? It's a bit MA rated
Her: Go ahead
Me: (Text about her wanting a dominant man who leads. One sexting sentence. One obsession line.) And that's just the beginning.
Her: Interesting but no that's not it lol
Me: You'll have to get to that level for me

The baiting worked and got her to respond very fast (she wasn't before), but her pushback on "but no that's not it" did throw me a bit. I didn't want to buy into her frame or push toward a date if she's pushing back. Instead I challenged her. That's probably a mistake, so looking for what would be a better response in the future or a better direction earlier in the interaction.
