Date ideas other than wine or coffee?
You're all pretty creative so I thought I'd hop in and see what date ideas you guys have done lately. My go to is wine at my place, but sometimes I do meet someone that I want to do something with less of a hook up vibe. I've been offering to make dinner for them lately and that's gone well, but not everyone is comfortable meeting at my place for the first date and I personally hate dinner dates in public.

just meet them at a bar near by then, keep the dates as simple as possible. theres nothing to be gained by trying to be creative here
So do you strictly do bar or wine meet ups even if this is a girl you're genuinely interested in relationship wise? I tend to ask what they're looking for ahead of time and if they say a serious relationship then asking if they want to meet at a bar or for wine doesn't usually go over as well. It's also tough because I don't drink alcohol so the bar environment isn't as laid back as it normally is. Wine can be tough too but I usually just buy non-alcoholic for myself and blame it on a strict diet, so it hasn't been an issue so far

I've always liked the Blackdragon 2-date model: a 45-minute low commitment date in a public location, then second date straight to yours
