Hey all, got the feedback on my last photo of me by a grill and I noticed Alex said my shirt was too loose. That made me think of a good question to ask: for the most part, should a shirt be tighter than usual in order to “fit” right? I am still in a XXL shirt despite losing 45+ lbs this year yet the classic fit (tighter) is still quite tight to the point that it may be showing too much of what I don’t want (some stomach) So I guess my question is more of what should a “good fitting” shirt look/feel like? Maybe I just need an example for my body type-Kyle

Go for a shirt that accentuates your chest and shoulders. Women are very forgiving of a belly as long as you have a big chest, shoulders, and arms.

But to answer your specific question, no. If you have a lot of body fat that looks unseemly under your clothes, the loose fit still serves you better.

If you have a stomach, that can still be hidden with the darker colored shirts/jackets. But get tight fit clothes where it's not at all obvious that you may have belly fat
