what's the protocol with girls that don't answer the first opener on tinder. Keep using the same opener with a day in between? Switch opener? After how many texts stop to not be a wierdo/creep? Etc... I open with "hey trouble"

haha no. You definitely don’t want to use the same opener on a girl twice. Just say something like “Are you always this talkative”
“Ah getting nice & tone for our date” or “Ah doubt some squats for our date”
