im sure this was asked before, but, unsure how to search on this forum to find past topics. I think I was shadow banned as some girl complained to me about my bio change relating to corona and the hint of meeting up then unmatched me. Now I am getting 0 new likes/matches after like 100 swipes. Maybe corona took them all out and cast this dry spell on me but if yall are still getting new tinder matches then I assume the end of the world didn't hit quite yet. If one is shadow banned, what is the go to process to recover? like I still have old likes & matches, are those affected too?

My bad, I meant standards. And yes, I’ve been banned without getting shadow banned. Basically, that’s when you’re flat out kicked off tinder. And I would use the same pics.

oh interesting, I normally just swipe on girls that meet my standards(which for me is just a binary f*ckable or not lol), is there a reason you swipe on girls that don't meet your standards? like does it help with the tinder algo or something.
Also, created new account, already 3 matches after 100 swipes, thanks. I think with tinder announcement of not to meet IRL and the girl complaining and probably reporting me then unmatching me caused it. idk how serious tinder takes it tho

I should’ve clarified. I have tinder gold so it shows me every girl that swiped right on me. That’s what the number I was quoting. Out of those, maybe half meet my standards and those are the one I swipe right on as well. I agree with only matching with girls you’d bang
