Now I know that this not directly related to tinder or text game, but I wanted to write this post for two big reasons I firmly believe that if you’re serious about maximizing your success with women, you have to maximize your health as well. Women are wired to be attracted to strong healthy men and not weaklings with limp dicks Unfortunately, just like with pickup, there is a crapload of bad info out there when it comes to this topic. On one end of the spectrum, you have people who have no idea what they’re talking about demonizing testerone and on the other you have gym bro’s acting like it’s the solution to everything. In this article, I’m going to lay out my experience and thoughts on TRT. What I discovered through personal trial & error, research, and diligent blood work. NOTE: none of this is intended to be medical advice. I am not a doctor...in case you didn’t know WHY DID I START TRT? This is a question some people will have so I’ll start off by answering it. I have been doing yearly blood work for a while and my total testerone levels were always average, but my free testerone was a bit on the lower end of the range, due to a high SHBG (more on this later). It was nothing drastic, but it was a bit suboptimal. Then, during the fall of 2018 I got Lyme disease (for the second time in my life). This caused all my hormones to get even worse. I also lost a shitload of weight and every shred of muscle mass. I am 5’11 and was down to 135lb. Despite, treating the Lyme hard with antibiotics & herbs I still had a hard time putting my weight back on. I also had a stubborn neck injury that refused to get better I’m sure, things have bounced back naturally at some point, but who knows how long that would’ve taken. I was determined to expedite this process and since my Test levels were never that great, I decided to jump on TRT Fast forward a year later, I look like a whole new person. I’m about 165lb now and workout 6 days a week. Ofcourse, this is not all from TRT. Far from it, but It did play a role WHO SHOULD CONSIDER TESTERONE? Again, I’m not a doctor so this is purely opinion. That bieng said, the first step is to get blood work. It amazes me how many people have no idea of what thier natural testerone level are. There are three things you need to test Total Testerone Free Testerone Sex Hormone Binding Globulin Total T by itself is not enough. It doesn’t matter if your Total T is 1000. If your free T is low due to a high SHBG then you will have the symptoms of low Testerone. When looking at your results, just bieng within the lab range doesn’t mean much. Those lab ranges are bullshit. Instead, you want to be within upper quadrant of the range. For both Total T and Free T. For SHBG you ideally want to be on the lower side, but for that as long as it’s within the range you’re good. Heres an example using my latest blood work Total Testerone: 966 (Range 300-1200) - This is good Free Testerone 20.1 (Range 5-26) - Also, good SHBG 39.7 (Range 12.5-68.7) - This is fine Now, if your blood work is suboptimal. This doesn’t mean you need to jump to TRT. There are a number of things you can do naturally to increase your Testerone. Covering, them all here would be outside the scope of this article, but they mainly fall down to three things: Diet, Exercise, and Sleep. (A book you can check out on this topic is Man 2.0 Engineering the Alpha). Another big thing you can do is go see a functional medicine DR (traditional endocrinologists are useless) and figure out if you have any vitamin deficiencies or anything the long the lines of that. There are also some peptides you can do which are a more “natural” way of increasing your hormones HOW TO DO TESTERONE OPTIMALLY? This is for the people who are already doing testerone or decided they are going to under the supervision of a functional medicine Doctor. (Yes, I do recommend you go through a doctor) Stick to intra muscular injections - It’s actually, super easy once you get the hang of it. Creams, pellets, and all that shit is just sub optimal. If you’re going to do TRT you might as well do it in the most optimal way About 2x a week is most optimal - initially, I started at once a week and then experimented with dividing the injection by 7 and doing daily (bad idea). Ultimately, I settled on doing .4ml once every three days. This keeps my levels optimal all the time, without creating big spikes and drops, Only use Estrogen blockers if you really need to - Estrogen blockers are way harder on your health then the Testerone. And unfortunately, some doctors prescribe them way too freely. You don’t want your estrogen levels to be extremely low (unless you are trying to get brittle bones), you want them to be just within range. I recommend you try doing testerone just by itself for a month or two and then test your estrogen, to determine if you really need a blocker. Personally, I don’t need one since despite high testerone levels, my body keeps estrogen within check Use HCG to minimize/remove some of the side effects. An issue with TRT is that it causes your body to stop your body from producing testerone on its own, which could cause your balls to shrink. This effect, can be minimized/counter acted with HCG injections (your functional medicine doctor should be well versed). And In case you’re wondering for some reason, my balls are just fine. And, I don’t have any other side effects either Closing Thoughts As I said in the beginning. There’s a lot of bad information out there about Testerone. It’s not bad. It’s not the ultimate solution to everything either (I wish it was). It’s just a tool, that can be beneficial in certain situations. Video version https://youtu.be/7A-zWHmK9F4
