So...Been texting this girl for about 2 weeks, she's much younger (24) and lives about 100 miles away. She was super enthusiastic at first, but there was a very gradual fade. We were going for something late week to meet up, and I was going to drive down, which is a bigger investment in time, of course, than something local. Long story short, even though we did not definitively have a date set up, she kinda disappeared for a day or so when we were getting close to making the date happen. Texts attached, my initial thought is to do some boundary setting in a non-butt hurt way but I'm having trouble finding the vid that outlined this. Or am I just over-reacting because she's so very hot? How would y'all handle this?

few issues here man, first off this was pretty poor logistcs setting on your part, you made this much more difficult than it needed to be, when she said "hows thursday" at that point all you need to do was say "sounds good, see you thursday" bam the date would have been set then and would have been harder for her to bail. So my advice in the future keep things as simple as possible, don't add all this unneccessary to it, secondly you live 100miles apart that is like a 2hr drive, the problem is that she is going to be hesitant to comet to you and if you drive to her 2hrs its gonna seem like you have no better option, this leads me to the last issue is that you are going to drive 2hrs to meet a chick for a public date, that's no bueno bro. I wouldn't do that even if a chick invited me straight over. My rule for public dates is that it should be a short walk from your place never half way unless its a "sex understanding" that as long as your normal she's going to invite you up to her place which it doesn't sound like in this situation.

Yeah it's easy to see it like that. In my defense I did say previously that I was only available Tuesday and Friday, so I wanted to try to hold that line (which , of course, I didn't do!). Also, you're used to pulling 24 year-olds that look amazing in a sundress, but that's a big deal for me (I'm 50!). But thanks for the feedback. Valuable perspective.
